Monday, December 29, 2008, 8:07 PM gut infection's PAINful I swear, gut infection's one of the worst "tummy-ache" a man can ever have. I thought it was all just a painful gastric pain, so ate breakfast at 12.00nn when i woke up, pain till cannot move properly, i also cannot move properly even without the pain:P but well moving on.. So after eating, there wasn't any help to ease the pain, and thought i was in for some gastric problems, called June(maid) to get me antacids to ease the gastric pain. Took one to no avail, took the second one after 1hr and left for the clinic. The pain was intense then.The 10 mins walk to the clinic wasn't making things any better. Beads of cold sweat dripped from my face and went down my back, despite the strong winds. Had an emergency consultation, cause' doc was afraid it was appendicitis(which is more serious, have to go operation if you don't know people). Told me that, it wasn't gastric, but some infections down at the gut(intestine?). She could see that i was in pain, pale face + cold hands. hah, and so she gave me 2 panadols and one other tablet on the spot, and ask me to rest for 10 - 15 mins out on the chairs. Warning that if the pain doesn't go away, a jab to my ass was a must. Alot of people sick nowadays, clinic18 was packed. Most looking at me i bet, as i was rolled up in my seat. Moaning as the pain trobbed on. 20 mins past, and i felt a tad better and the doc called me in. She said i was making good progress, and should let the painkillers kick in. "Just need to go home and have a good rest and drink water plus plus." Were her exact words if i did not recall wrongly. Went home, and sleep. Due for meds in 30 mins. Ankle has recovered much, there is less pain but i still have a slight problem walking normally. Brain's telling me to walk with a limp still, afraid it still hurts. Gut's pain subsidded much, but there's still a little discomfort as i move about, like from my bed to the loos, or to the computer to eat my porridge(potato and carrot) as well as blog. i was warned that i may puke or have the runs.
